Oscilloscope - signal monitor
The objectives of this design:
Signal monitor for audio test equipment (build in).
I am using
the module in test equipment for specification test of cartridges (pickup's).
It is really an advantage to be able to see the quality of the test signals
(from the vinyl test records).
The features of the Oscilloscope:
- Auto setting function
- 20Hz - 50kHz
- 50mV -> 1000mV (with out attenuator)
Main parts:
The software for the oscilloscope.
The design is based on the this code: Ref. Software
I have changed / improved very much of code.
Here are a few of the most important changes.
- The offset setting of he original code is not easy to use when you want to change the vertical scale / horizontal scale. I have developed and added an auto function for the offset setting. This means the oscilloscope at start always set the offset correct and by he cahnge of the monitored signal you can push the auto setting button and your display is correct. The function needs calibration setting which is individual per ESP32.
- I have changed the signal data on the display and added the most important data. You can choose if you want the signal data or not on the display.
- By using the 4 pushbuttons you have all normal oscilloscope settings availible.
You can find software for the oscilloscope at github: ESP32_Oscilloscope
Input amplifier
I have designed a small balanced input amplifier for the oscilloscope. The circuit change the input impedance and set the output dc levet for the analog port of the ESP32.
Read more about the differential input amplifier.
This is the information for now...............
More information will come soon
e.g. 4 input channel PCB for the oscilloscope
